High-quality materials that make a difference

Whilst many cool bags are made from thin polyester, XCelsius® deliberately opts for high-quality materials. The exterior is made from robust 500D tarpaulin, a strong and 100% waterproof material that can withstand rough handling and will last for years rather than just one summer. Inside, EPE foam insulation keeps the contents cool, whilst the PEVA inner lining is waterproof and easy to clean. The result is a cooler rucksack that performs better and lasts longer than a standard cooler bag.

A genuine 20 litres – not just an empty promise

Many cool bags claim to hold 20 litres, but lose their shape as soon as they’re not completely full. Thanks to its sturdy, rigid shape, this cool bag retains its volume. This means you can make full use of the 20 litres: it holds around 30 standard 0.33-litre tins, and bottles up to 34 cm tall stand upright. With external dimensions of 39 x 40.5 x 22 cm, it’s compact enough for a cycle bag or boot, and spacious enough for a whole day.

Stays cold for at least 24 hours, even in direct sunlight

The insulated interior maintains the temperature, even on hot days. With the two cooling elements, you can set off with your contents well chilled, and when used in combination with ice, you’ll get the maximum cooling power out of the bag. In a test at 37.8 °C – in extreme heat – the bag, filled entirely with ice, remained below 1 °C even after a full 24 hours.
